DDE – Distributed Data Entry

I did a proof of concept for a distributed data entry system that would allow users (non-bank employees) to enter data in digital format by displaying parts of the information on scanned paper forms. Thus reducing the need for this to be done as a backend process and leading to potential savings for the bank.

There were many ideas on how to extend it with auto-suggest, OCR etc. The proof of concept passed the test and a production version was called for. So a Final Year project team was arranged to continue the work and make a production version of the system.
